Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Litecoin Wallet ("the App", "we", "us", or "our") handles information when you use the iOS application. The data controller for the purposes of the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is the publisher identified on the App Store listing.

This policy applies to the Litecoin Wallet iOS app and this marketing website. It does not apply to the Litecoin network itself, third-party block explorers, exchanges, or any external service you choose to interact with through the App.

In line with Apple's App Privacy Details framework, we declare the following collection practices. "Collect" means the data is transmitted off your device in a way that is linked to your identity or that persists beyond a short-lived service request.

Data Not Collected

We do not collect any of the following Apple-defined data categories: Contact Info, Health & Fitness, Financial Info, Location, Sensitive Info, Contacts, User Content, Browsing History, Search History, Identifiers, Purchases, Usage Data, Diagnostics, or Other Data — when tied to your identity.

Data Stored Only On Your Device

• · Wallet recovery phrase and private keys (stored in the encrypted iOS Keychain).
• · Wallet metadata such as labels, address book, UTXO labels, and transaction notes.
• · Biometric authentication preferences (Face ID / Touch ID is processed by iOS; we never see your biometrics).
• · Optional spend password (stored only as a derived key in the Keychain; we never receive it).

Ephemeral Network Data

To display balances, broadcast transactions, and fetch market data, the App sends requests to public Litecoin nodes and price APIs. These requests transmit only what is required for the operation (for example, addresses being queried or a signed transaction). Your IP address is visible to the receiving server as part of normal internet communication. We do not log, store, or link IP addresses to your identity, and you may route the App through your own node, Tor, or a VPN.

Any data the App handles is used solely to:

• · Operate the wallet (display balances, sign and broadcast transactions).
• · Provide optional features you enable (iCloud backup, MWEB privacy, multisig, merchant tools).
• · Show market data you have requested.

We do not profile you, target advertising to you, or use your data for any purpose unrelated to the App's core functionality.

Where GDPR applies, the lawful bases for processing the minimal data the App handles are:

• · Performance of a contract — to provide the wallet functionality you request.
• · Consent — for any optional feature (such as iCloud backup or anonymous crash diagnostics) that you explicitly enable.
• · Legitimate interests — to keep the App secure and functioning correctly.

If you enable iCloud backup, an end-to-end encrypted copy of your wallet data is stored in your personal iCloud account, governed by Apple's iCloud Terms and Privacy Policy. The encryption key is derived from your password and never leaves your device. We cannot read, recover, or reset this backup.

The App may contact the following categories of third-party services on your behalf. None of these providers receive personal identifiers from us.

• · Litecoin network nodes — to read chain state and broadcast transactions.
• · Public price APIs — to display market data (e.g. CoinGecko-class providers).
• · Apple — Keychain, iCloud, Face ID / Touch ID, and App Store services governed by Apple's policies.

The App does not embed third-party advertising SDKs, analytics SDKs that identify users, or social media tracking pixels.

Litecoin Wallet does not "track" you as defined by Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework. We do not link data collected from this App with data from other companies' apps, websites, or offline properties for advertising or measurement, and we do not share device identifiers with data brokers. You will not see an ATT prompt.

If you opt in to share crash diagnostics, the App may transmit anonymized stack traces and device model information to help us fix bugs. These reports do not include wallet data, addresses, keys, IP addresses linked to your identity, or any personal information. You can disable diagnostics at any time in Settings.

Because the App does not collect personal data on our servers, we have nothing to retain about you. Data stored on your device persists until you delete the App or reset the wallet. Optional iCloud backups persist until you delete them from your iCloud account.

We use platform security features including the iOS Secure Enclave, Keychain, biometric authentication, and encrypted backups. No system is perfectly secure; you remain responsible for safeguarding your device passcode, recovery phrase, and any backups you create.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights under GDPR, UK GDPR, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), or similar laws, including the rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your personal data, and to object to processing.

Because we do not collect personal data on our servers, there is generally nothing for us to access, correct, or delete on your behalf. To exercise any right that does apply, contact privacy@litecoinwallet.app. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.

California residents: we do not "sell" or "share" personal information as those terms are defined under the CCPA/CPRA.

Litecoin Wallet is rated 17+ on the App Store and is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information to us, contact us and we will delete it.

The App is offered globally. Because we do not collect personal data on our servers, there are no cross-border transfers of personal data initiated by us. Network requests you initiate may be served by infrastructure located in various countries.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be highlighted in the App or on this page and will take effect when posted. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
